The stone with the three birds and the caption 17 IN THE THREE LARKS has made quite a journey. It originates from Wijcker Brugstraat 44. After the reconstruction and widening of the street (the Percee) it ended up in the depot under the Dinghuis. It was then moved to the museum at Lenculenstraat, was relocated at Kapoenstraat 30 and finally moved again to Bouillonstraat 11. This is a nationam monument dating from 1763 and has a clean cornice with segmental arch windows in Namur stone.
In 1912 the stone with the larks that had been removed in 1880 was in the depository under the Dinghuis.
