With IN THE GOLDEN HEAD at Markt 6 the stonemason undoubtedly wanted to depict some kind of Greek goddess, but the inscription does not make it clear which one. Given the helmet, we are dealing with a warrior lady. It could well be Minerva, but it is more likely to be Pallas Athena: 'the showpiece of all divine women, accomplished in weaving, stitching, fighting and quarrelling'.
