This gable stone is known as the 'Annatrits', i.e. the three figures depicted on it are Mary, her mother Anna and the baby Jesus. With some ad decoration: an angel's head below, 'the eye of God' above, and two angel figures to the left and right.

The marlstone -  badly damaged by the weather - can be found on the courtyard behind the green gate.
However, this place is not open to the public.

Archival photo of the Annatrits in the courtyard around 1900.
Fortunately, there is a modern replica of this stone in the facade on Sint Jacobstraat.

Another one on the facade of the former Sint Annadal hospital, now the Limburg District Court.

Of St. Anne's Monastery?

It is safe to assume that the Annatrits originates from the former St Anne's convent that would have been located at the corner of Jacobstraat and Lantaarnstraat, more or less adjacent to the grounds of the Jacobsgasthuis on the corner with Bredestraat. It was founded in 1441 and, after all sorts of quarrels, was merged with the Calvarienberg convent in 1670. The sisters of St. Anna took care of orphans. They did this on site until 1698, when the orphanage on Lenculenstraat opened. That is where the Sisters of St. Monica used to be, on the corner with Verwerhoek. Where the drama school is now, there used to be the Protestant orphanage.
It is therefore quite possible, that the stone came from that convent, but in that case it has crossed the street. The convent was sold after 1698, broken down and replaced by houses. And there is nothing left of it.
