This gable stone, from Muntstraat 12, was relocated in 1955 to this house that used to be called 'den coelen mey' and was built or rebuilt in the year 1697, as appears from the two separate year stones next to the pewter jug.
According to the year of the chronogram the gable stone is dated 1760: CLeMentIs ChrIstI sUbsIDIo, that is, "by the support of Christ's goodness".

The stone broken out at Muntstraat is in depository. Remarkable is the border under the jug itself. This appears to have disappeared on the refurbished stone and the text IN THE PEWTER JUG has been added.
