No gable stone in this facade which may be called a facade decoration. It is made of hard stone with a baroque decoration. Although the building has an inscription above the front door: "A0. 1612 Di", the facades must be dated much later for stylistic reasons. The building has two storeys separated by water mouldings; the facade is crowned by a substantial cornice with brackets, on top of which lies the profiled wooden box gutter. This baroque ornamentation is rare in Maastricht. The original display cases from the middle of the 19th century have been preserved as the earliest form of a shop window.
