Turn around and stand with your back to the town hall. In front of you you will see the Zeeman shop. Walk to the shop.

Across the street on the left are the next three gable stones side by side.

Walk into Grote Gracht on the left-hand side. The next gable stone is 75 metres down the road on the left-hand side.

Stay on this side of the street. Diagonally across the street is the next gable stone.

Cross the street. The next gable stone is right after the corner on the top edge of the old door.

You will now see two gable stones in rapid succession, first left then  right..

Five Gable stones now follow on the right. Walk all the way down this street.

You now arrive at Brusselsestraat. The next gable stone is on the left at the chip shop.

Cross the street and immediately after the corner you will find the next gable stone on the left and then four gable stones on the right side of the street, the first one opposite 'the Golden Ox Head'.

Now turn immediately left into Kruisherengang. At the end walk straight to Kruisheren monastery, the  entrance to design hotel.

Turn right around the building and continue along Kruisherengang.

At the end of the street cross to the other side and turn slightly to the right into Abstraat. There are three younger gable stones of a former monastery on the right (will be added after the restoration) and there is no other old gable stone in this street. Walk down the street, and at the end you will come across the next gable ornament.

Turn left into Tongersestraat. The first five gable stones are on the left.

The next stones are on the right, left and right.

Walk straight ahead into Lenculenstraat . The first Gable stone is on the right.

The next four gable stones are on the left and the last one is on the right corner.

Turn left into Kapoenstraat and find the next three gable stones on the left.

On the other side you see the chronogram above the gate.

Continue straight ahead via Sint Jacobsstraat to the Vrijthof, and you will see the next effigy on the right.

The route ends at the "Ouden Vogelstruys" on the right side of the Vrijthof Square.
