The Jekerkwartier gable stone route consists of 59 gable stones. Do not click in the map for more information about the gable stones but use the instructions further on this page under the map and start at 1.

Your route starts on the Vrijthof in Den Ouden Vogelstruys pub. To navigate to this point, you can use Google maps and leave this website. As soon as you have reached the starting point, you will return to this website and resume the route below.

There now follows a short walk along the city wall to the next gable stone. At the end of Academieplein turn right down the steps and walk on the right-hand side. After the entrance to the Music Academy turn right immediately after the small bridge (city walk). Walk up the steps on the left, past the white mill. You are now on the city wall. Turn left and walk to the end and go down the steps. Then go through the gate in the rampart and look back to see the next gable stone .

Go back through the gate and straight on into Zwingelput. The next gable stone is immediately on the left.

Walk further down Grote Looiersstraat. Cross the street diagonally to the left, and at the end of the street around the corner you will find the next gable stone.

Return to Grote Looiersstraat. On the slope of the corner of Kleine Looiersstraat you find the next gable stone. Then turn into Kleine Looiersstraat. The first gable stone is on the left and the next two on the right.

A little further on the right is Stenenbrug. Enter this street. The first gable stone is immediately on the left. At the end of the street go left into Koestraat. On the corner of Stenenbrug and Koestraat you will find gable stone 40 in Ridderstraat on your right. In Koestraat you will find the first gable stone immediately on the right and the second further down on the left.
