Jeker district

If you stand with your back to the Vogel Struys, you will see the following two gable stones on the left.

Turn right into St. Jacobsstraat. The statue of Mary is on the left.

Turn right into Papenstraat. The coat of arms is further up on the left and a little higher.

The military guard house is behind the park on the right. Continue straight ahead into Bouillonstraat .

Turn right at the end of the street and enter Tongersestraat. The first gable stone is on the right.

Across the street there are two gable stones and then five gable stones on the right.

Cross the street and walk back into Kakenberg.

Then turn right onto Academieplein. The coat of arms is on the left.

There now follows a short walk along the city wall to the next gable stone. At the end of Academieplein turn right down the steps and walk on the right-hand side. After the entrance to the Music Academy turn right immediately after the small bridge (city walk). Walk up the steps on the left, past the white mill. You are now on the city wall. Turn left and walk to the end and go down the steps. Then go through the gate in the rampart and look back to see the next gable stone .

Go back through the gate and straight on into Zwingelput. The next gable stone is immediately on the left.

Turn right into Grote Looiersstraat. There are three gable stones on the right.

Walk further down Grote Looiersstraat. Cross the street diagonally to the left, and at the end of the street around the corner you will find the next gable stone.

Return to Grote Looiersstraat. On the slope of the corner of Kleine Looiersstraat you find the next gable stone. Then turn into Kleine Looiersstraat. The first gable stone is on the left and the next two on the right.

Turn left at the end of the street: Sint Pieterstraat. Here you will find eight gable stones and special buildings, mainly on the left and "In the rose" a bit higher. Only "In the old swan" and the Franciscan church are on the right.

A little further on the right is Stenenbrug. Enter this street. The first gable stone is immediately on the left. At the end of the street go left into Koestraat. On the corner of Stenenbrug and Koestraat you will find gable stone 40 in Ridderstraat on your right. In Koestraat you will find the first gable stone immediately on the right and the second further down on the left.

Turn left into Cortenstraat. The statue of Mary is immediately on the left. At the end of the street you will find the next gable stone on your left, just around the corner.

Cross the street and go straight into Witmakersstraat. All gable stones are on the left.

At the end of the street, turn right. This is the Kapoenstraat. On the corner with the Lenculenstraat you will find the next gable stone (on both sides of the corner). Walk further down Kapoenstraat. The next three gable stones are on the left and the last one on the right.

Turn right into Lantaarnstraat.

Cross the street and go straight into Heggenstraat. The next gable stone is on the left.

Turn left at the end of the street and go straight across Amorsplein into Platielstraat . The last two gable stones are on the right.
